Practical Methods for the Scientific Examination of Library Objects

The IFLA PAC Centre at the Qatar National Library, in cooperation with the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik and the Beit Gazo Center in Jounieh, Lebanon is organising a four-day training course in Practical Methods for the Scientific Examination of Library Objects.

All libraries, cultural institutions and museums in Lebanon and the Levant region are invited to nominate paper and manuscript conservators to attend this training course, to be held at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik and the Beit Gazo Center, Jounieh, Lebanon. The course will be conducted by Dr. Antonino Cosentino, Director of Cultural Heritage Science Open and Maxim Nasra, Book Conservation Specialist at Qatar National Library.

The training is free, and accommodation and airline tickets will be covered for some participants.
