IFLA’s New Professionals Special Interest Group (NPSIG) is an open global network for library and information science new professionals and their supporters.

NPSIG was founded by new professionals in 2004 within the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), affiliated with the Management of Library Associations Section (MLAS). NPSIG leadership team together with a global network of enthusiasts drive the activities of NPSIG, all on a voluntary basis. The group is always eager to welcome new members and supporters who we encourage to join our informal network and to contribute to the group’s online and on-site activities.

The IFLA NPSIG main activities are Webinars, Congress sessions and Satellite meetings, IFLAcamp, Online communication – blog and web page, social networks and apps.
