Division: Regions

The main objectives of the Section are to initiate, promote and facilitate the development of library and information services and the library profession within the five sub-regions of Asia and Oceania: West Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, East Asia and Oceania. The Section works in cooperation with the other Regional Sections and all of IFLA's Sections and Core Activities, especially the Action for Development through Libraries Programme.

Dear colleagues from Africa, Asia, Oceania, Latin América and the Caribbean We invite you to participate in the research titled "HOW TO GET OUR VOICE HEARD AT IFLA ?", which is being conducted by members of IFLA Regional Division V including Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), Africa, Asia and Oceania (A&O) Sections with the objective of identifying strategies to increase the number of members from our region at IFLA decision making position and in its activities and congresses.
