BSLA Country Project: Ukraine
Ukrainian Library Association has over 1000 members, approximately 20 are collective and the rest individual from all regions of Ukraine. ULA structure encompasses 14 regional branches. The association is working on creating regional branches in all oblasts. The association was founded in 1990.
- Governance: Skilling people to carry forward the association's agenda to enhance the communication, collaboration, planning and financial skills of ULA board members and regional chapter heads.
- Strategy, membership and awareness: Enhancing the vision of the association and communicating this to ULA members, non-members and its partners.
- Advocacy and fundraising: To position. ULA as a key organization to represent libraries to national and local governments on issues of librarian salaries and status and library funding.
