The spring meeting of EBLIDA EGIL (Expert Group on Information Law) takes place on Thursday 19 May to Friday 20 May (09:30am-3:30pm BST) at CILIP’s offices in London, United Kingdom.

EGIL’s aims are to “maintain a good awareness of legal issues that affect the provision and circulation of information, especially where libraries and archives are concerned” and to “address the European institutions by making suggestions regarding laws, or changes to laws that would improve the legal position of libraries and archives.”

IFLA attends the spring meeting as observers, as part of our participation in the discussions about the EU copyright reform.
