Guidelines for Continuing Professional Development: Principles and Best Practices (Workshop)

Congress Programme 15.08.2016,

13:45 – 15:45 C220-222 Session 109

For a successful professional future, it is critical that there is a strong commitment to high quality CPD.  The IFLA Section for Continuing Professional Development and Workplace Learning (CPDWL) has recently revised and updated the Guidelines for Continuing Professional Development: Principles and Best Practices. This workshop will introduce you to the Guidelines and help you to utilise them in the context of professional learning: as an employer, as the officer of a professional association, as a training provider, or as an advocate for CPD quality in the library and information sector.   If you can, please bring a mobile device with you to this highly interactive workshop!
