WLIC 2016: Session 153 - Government and Parliamentary Libraries as innovators: supporting communities of practice

As part of the IFLA World Library and Information Congress 2016 (WLIC 2016), the Government Libraries and Library and Research Services for Parliaments Sections invite you to a two-hour session on communities of practice in Government and Parliamentary Libraries. 

The meeting aims to address the ways that Government agencies and Parliaments with information and research services are leading or facilitating the creation of communities of practice. Requiring not only technology but the management of new processes and roles, these communities are able to organize activities or produce deliverables that can support the strategic goals of Government structures and Parliaments.

The session will be held during WLIC 2016 on Tuesday 16 August, at 16:00 - 18:00, including the following presentations:
