The countdown has begun — The IFLA Global Vision Online Vote is coming!

IFLA wants to get your ideas to tackle the challenges of the future and on Monday, 21 August 2017 you can do exactly that!
In two weeks, IFLA launches the IFLA Global Vision online voting site at the World Library and Information Congress in Wroclaw, Poland and we want every librarian in every country to get involved to make this a truly global conversation.
IFLA has already organised workshops all over the world (Washington D.C., Yaoundé, Alexandria, Buenos Aires, Singapore and Madrid) with key players from the library field from approximately 140 countries. The workshops have focused on how to strengthen the ties within the library field, helped identify future challenges and opportunities, and prioritise actions that the library environment could take in response to the fast-pacing changes in societies
Now we are excited to hear your views on the key questions that will help unite the library environment in the face of the challenges from ever-increasing globalisation.
Six questions—each with 10 possible choices—have been selected based upon the outcomes of our regional workshops. You can vote until Saturday 30 September, after which time IFLA will gather all the votes and ideas to produce a global library roadmap for the future.
