Poster Presentation – Heredity and Environment – Genealogy and Local History for All

World Library and Information Congress :
23-27 August 2009, Milan, Italy

The Section’s program at the 2009 World Library and Information Congress included a poster presentation. The two-part  poster demonstrated the nature of genealogy and local history and why these disciplines are important in terms of libraries, archives and museums.  It  included examples of genealogies and images of local history gathered from many countries, including China, Denmark, England, Ethiopia,  Germany, Montenegro, Norway, Taiwan, United States and  Wales.
