The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) will hold its Regional Forum on Sustainable Development from 10-18 March, inculding peer-learning round tables, side events, and plenary sessions.

The meeting provides an opportunity to discuss progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals in the wider Europe region, in particular in the light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event is part of the preparation for this year’s High Level Political Forum, with conclusions reported to the ministers and officials meeting in New York in July.

IFLA will be attending in order to highlight how libraries contribute to a sustainable and equitable response to the pandemic and longer-term recovery. In particular, we will organise a side-event on 12 February – see more on the dedicated event page.
